Eric A. Larson joined Michael Silver & Company as a partner in 2002, merging a firm he co-founded in 1983. Eric works primarily with small businesses and their owners, serving clients in the following industries:

• Construction contracting
• Real estate development and ownership
• Restaurants, entertainment, foodservice, and other retail businesses
• Not-for-profit organizations, including entities that receive federal grants
• Distribution and light manufacturing
• Software developers, professional practices, and other service businesses

Eric performs the traditional services of accounting, auditing and tax, as well as financial and operational consulting services. He has also represented numerous clients over the years in the purchase and sales of various businesses, properties, and investments. For entities receiving federal funds, he performs governmental financial audits, single audits and compliance audits (GAGAS and OMB A-133). Additionally, Eric has consulted in various litigation support matters, performing investigative analysis, forensic reconstructions, expert witness reports, and trial testimony where his expertise was needed.

Eric received a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA in Finance from DePaul University, Chicago, graduating with distinction. Eric is a certified public accountant, licensed by the State of Illinois, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. Eric is also a certified forensic accountant and a member of the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute.
