Neil Friedman, CPA

Neil Friedman is a Senior Partner with Michael Silver & Company CPAs. He joined the firm in 1969, and became a partner in 1972. 

Neil is committed to achieving excellence in client service.  His areas of expertise include accounting and audit, litigation support, and consulting services for a diverse group of clients, including automotive dealerships, leasing, retail, real estate, and service and sales organizations.  Specifically, from an industry perspective, Neil has contributed articles to the Chicago Automobile Trade Association’s member newsletter, and he co-authors the monthly publication Power Steering, a newsletter focused on financial issues and challenges facing automobile dealerships.

Neil is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. He has also conducted seminars on various aspects of accounting.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master of Science in Accountancy from Roosevelt University.  Neil and his wife Paula live in north suburban Chicago.
