Jennifer Barliant

Partner
Jennifer A. Barliant, CPA, joined Michael Silver & Company in 2001 and became a partner in 2006. Before joining MS&Co, she was a senior manager at a “Big 4” accounting firm and other middle market accounting firms, working mainly with closely held and family owned businesses and their stakeholders.
As a member of the audit department, Jennifer has focused her work on certified audits, reviews, compilations, consulting, and other accounting and tax services within a wide range of industries. She has been involved in assisting the firm in their technology advances, including paperless workflow for the audit practice. She has also trained members of the firm in a variety of areas, including audit and accounting issues, technology and process.
She serves clients in the following industries:

Jennifer lives in the Chicagoland area with her husband, Scott and two sons, Arran and Isaak. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys the outdoors, baseball and being involved in her sons’ activities.
