Ronald E. Miazga joined Michael Silver & Company in 2008 as a partner and works with closely held businesses and their owners in manufacturing and service related industries. Ron specializes in all areas of taxation as well as audits, reviews, compilations, and business valuations.

Ron earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Quincy College and a MBA in accounting from Western Illinois University. He is a certified public accountant licensed by the state of Illinois, an accredited CVA (certified valuation analyst), and a member of the Illinois CPA Society, American Institute of CPAs, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

Ron started his professional career with Ernst & Ernst and later joined the local CPA firm MacLennan & Company, where he became a managing partner. Ron also served as the Vice President of Finance for both a large manufacturing company and a real estate company. He joined Ronald A. Weiss, CPA Chartered in 1990 and shortly thereafter became a partner. Ron has taught accounting and tax related courses at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, St. Xavier University, and other junior colleges.
